West Jakarta Satpol PP Head Tamo Sijabat stated that there were a total of 800 Satpol PP personnel on duty at the urban village, sub-district, and administrative city levels.
"From that number, we are about to deploy 500 personnel for security during Ramadan," he added, Tuesday (3/29).
Satpol PP Closely Monitors Health Protocol Rules at Pramuka Island PierHe explained personnel would take turns working from morning until dawn with assistance from TNI and Police.
They were assigned to monitor and control entertainment venues to comply with regulations that had been set during Ramadan, including street vendors (PKL) who usually open stalls on the roadside.
"We will intensify monitoring in Grogol and Slipi intersection areas to anticipate brawls," he conveyed.
